A textural abstract in orange-red tones, with a touch of gold shimmer. Created in many layers of acrylic paint washes over a textured acrylic medium base on a wood substrate.
The original painting was gifted to a friend during a small original art exchange, pre-Covid-19 pandemic times. How I miss those social gatherings back in the days pre-Covid.

About Christine Chin-Fook
I have always had a passion for drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, I spent much of my career working in graphic design, marketing, and finance in the corporate world while raising my family. Now, I am finally happy to rekindle my passion for the visual arts and love every moment of this creative journey. My works tend to be bright and colorful, perhaps a reflection of my island upbringing. The process of creating is experimental and rewarding as I welcome surprises in the way my thoughts interact with any medium, whether that be acrylics, watercolors, encaustic wax, oil and cold wax, or mixed media.
