Artist's Description

Yesterday's Serenade, created with the love of a freshly picked garden bouquet that was so bright and colorful in your home yesterday, or a few days ago. Dying, fading dead blooms, that was once loved. This work on paper was created with oil and cold wax medium on Arches Oil Paper.

About Christine Chin-Fook

Christine Chin-Fook

I have always had a passion for drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, I spent much of my career working in graphic design, marketing, and finance in the corporate world while raising my family. Now, I am finally happy to rekindle my passion for the visual arts and love every moment of this creative journey. My works tend to be bright and colorful, perhaps a reflection of my island upbringing. The process of creating is experimental and rewarding as I welcome surprises in the way my thoughts interact with any medium, whether that be acrylics, watercolors, encaustic wax, oil and cold wax, or mixed media. Welcome and thanks for stopping by.
